What to Wear | Fall 2012

I am not sure where the year has gone. It seems like yesterday that I was taking maternity leave. Fall is already here and the cold weather is slowly moving in. This is very exciting for me because I always manage to end up with another jacket. I tell my husband that a girl cannot have too many shoes, purses or jackets.

I’m also a big fan of color and nothing makes photos come to life more than well coordinated looks. Remember, no matchy matchy… white shirts and khaki’s! Let each individual be unique. It will show beautifully in your images, I promise!

Keep in mind to limit prints in clothing to one or two people, if it’s a small print, and then base the rest of the outfits around that. Find colors that work well with the print, ones that will accent the look. Think comfort and keep your location in mind and how that relates to the clothing. Imagine how your photos will look in your home, and remember to think “TIMELESS.” The most important rule is to make sure the clothing brings out your personality!
